Smile Martin D-28S 1975 Sound clip added! SOLD AGAIN!

FOR SALE IS A 1975 MARTIN D-28S that delivers a booming sound with unsurpassed vintage 41 year old tone and sustain that will rock your world. There is just nothing like a 12-fret Martin dreadnought when it comes to a huge voice, beautiful tone and sustain.

As you can see from the pics there is plenty of play wear on the top including scratches and pick wear throughout, around the sound hole and below the pick guard. Many connoisseurs consider this to be "mojo" that says this guitar has been played well and played often - because it delivers! The back and sides are in very good shape as you can see in the photos.

The nut width is 1-7/8" and the action is excellent at the 12th fret at 3/32" and 5/64" respectively. Slotted headstock, 12-fret configuration, East Indian rosewood back and sides with a sitka spruce top, bone saddle and bone pins. There is a just a hint of fret wear in the first position frets and there is a pickup plug-in jack on the bottom endpin area but I do not know if it is hooked up. The bridge is located in the correct place as per Bryan Kimsey's website measuring instructions. The height of the strings above the top in front of the middle of the bridge is at a hair above 1/2". No neck reset needed.

Stake your claim to that vintage Martin 40+ year old tone with this monster!
