Low E sound played at 12th fret?
On my Taylor 816ce my action is fine and I get no buzz anywhere on fretboard so action is perfect. However, when I play my low E string at 12th fret (not a harmonic) I get a short thumping tone rather than a sustaining ringing tone as on other frets. It's like other string harmonics and/or body resonance are cancelling it out. I have changed strings multiple times and it remains. I also get this same phenomenon on my D string at 3rd fret and a little at 2nd fret but not as bad. Anyone have any ideas?
