Hi jazzguy,

I asked John to opine, and he said the following: "It is similar to other ebonies. It is as heavy as the denser rosewoods, but has a bit less reverb than some rosewoods. The tap tone is a bit deceptive in that it does not ring like a bell in either the hi or low end, but finished instruments are full of character. I haven’t built with Mun before, but I have enough experience using various ebonies to make some good assumptions.... in my particular building style I have found that the bass is a bit muted at first, but will bloom and mature nicely with time."
