Sounds like despite the bit of repair needed, it's a keeper. Cool.
I think one of these Cordobas is in my future...every time I pick one up I'm reminded of how much bang for the buck they are...a truly great guitar at a very affordable price.
I've had very good luck with the MF Scratch and Dent options. Now post some pictures!!!
