My Son has brought home a Moridaira nylon stringed classical guitar. It has been donated by a friends Mother. Dated 1973 its in fair condition but is it worth looking after or treating as the house knock-a-bout?

The net is unhelpful and most of the sites are in Japanese or poorly translated from Japanese.
