In early 2016 I had commissioned a build with Mario Beauregard, but due to a very tragic event in my wife's family, had to cancel it. Mario was incredibly gracious at the time, even though the build was already underway. I assumed he'd have finished it and sold it well before now. Well, the situation with my wife's family is stable now, and I contacted Mario to see what happened with the build. Turns out he's been so busy with other projects he never finished it, so we've arranged to continue the build! I am thrilled because it will likely be a once in a lifetime opportunity!
It is going to be his SJ model, which is his larger flat top model with a 16.5" lower bout. 45 year old quarter sawn Pernambuco back/sides and a (Lutz?) spruce top. He tentatively plans to finish it around the end of the year.
