Congratulations on your acquisition. i’ve long wanted a guitar like yours.

I have a 1966 Silvertone guitar that has been tuned to E for 51 years with no damage. I have a bespoke classical guitar I had made in 1975 that has always been at concert pitch with no adverse effect. In other words, it is myth that well designed, properly crafted guitars should be detuned when not in use in order to preserve the integrity of the neck.
