Well, Emerald is on the list of Community Sponsors for the AGF. As is RainSong, LA Guitar Sales, and a bunch of others.
That said, how does a discussion about anything Emerald detract from your experience here, Jerry? I am not ridiculing you, I simply don't understand the problem.
When I first started reading this sub-forum, there weren't a lot of posts on any given day. These days, there are a lot more posts. People talk about Emerald because their guitars stir up passion and excitement. I would assume it is the same with those who appreciate any other particular brand.
I looked, and there is no requirement to read
every post. There will be no quiz regarding forum content.
If anything about Emerald upsets you, WHY are you even reading this particular thread?? Really, I am a bit dumbfounded that we are even having this discussion. I'm guessing you don't drive through your neighborhood hollering at everyone who doesn't drive the same car as you? Your posts on this thread are kind of a similar thing. Take a breath, play your guitar of choice for a bit, then start a new thread about that.
This makes me want to coin a new word: brandism... thinking others shouldn't have the freedom to choose a brand if it isn't your choice. Yeah, that makes about as much sense. It has been 50 years since I was in Junior High... I wasn't big on that "my choice is good, yours sucks" thing back then; I have even less interest in it now.
