I always fit my saddles so they're a little hard to pull out. Not to tight - but not loose at all. To me, that sounds best.

My guess is that you could pull it out with a pair of pliers. Might want to put some masking tape on the saddle first so you don't chip it.

I'd recommend calling Bob Colosi first and getting your new saddle sent to you before removing your old one.

I'd just go with bone.
