Thanks for the info! John K mentioned some time back that he would like to do a Larsen Bros type guitar. Didn't they do something like this on a few? Of course, no CF then.

Seems like with the cantilevered FB extension and these buttress rods the entire top should be able to work better at making sound... John is going to do laminated sides, which should add to the tonal package!

And some extra high end should be nice as we are using Cedar/Hog for light weight and Warm Tone.

I kind of like that I will be able to see them thru the sound port. I am trying to talk JK into painting some flames on them. Hahahahahhaha
