Default Augustine

I bought a Cordoba C5 last February that came with Savarez Crystal Corum strings on it and the G string sounded dull. I put some new D'Addario normal tension strings on it and the G sounded a little better, but still more dull than the B and E treble strings. I decided that it was because of the guitar and I just accepted it. I continued to use D'Addarios for about 10 months because so many people on this forum and Classical Guitar Delcamp rave about them. I wanted to try some low tension strings and my local store did not have D'Addario low tension in stock, so I bought some Augustine Black Classic. Not only did the G sound better but the B and E also sounded more like a "real" classical guitar sounds. They still sound just as great about 6 weeks later. I should have trusted Andres Segovia and Albert Augustine sooner.
