I'm a bit taken by it, too! The canjo is going in my office at the university. I'll report back on how many students I can entice to pick it up and play it! Have to confess that I'm kinda hooked on the little critter myself. There's something relaxing about playing just a melody line.
Also was a bit stunned that Tim serial-numbered them along with his guitars. Maybe production is in the works? He's gone from stellar guitars to terrific little ukes to...wait for it...the CANJO. If there is any overriding indicator in our world that culture is in decline, perhaps this is it!
(but it's still a lotta fun to play!)
