I get the same thing going with my Scarlett 6i6 . I pump into it a - T.C. Helicon Voice Live 3 X
- Roland GR33 guitar synth module
I mix the vocal - synth - guitar in the T.C.Helicon VL3X's FX
I monitor the sound through one of the 6i6's headphone out to my P.A.
I have one headphone to a headset and another from the VL3X giving me
3 headphone monitoring capability .
Saves me a lot of work not hauling a 12 channel mixer for a solo show 
I love today's technology a whole lot . I use this into my computer too , it works out
nicely using the T.C. Helicon VL3X's FX in front of the computer cpu through the
6i6 and then into the computer ..
