It's been in interesting thread for me. I love opinions and sharing them. I haven't been surprised or upset by anything here and if I have contributed to anything negative it was unintentional. I think any animosity is actually just amplified by the medium of the forum, not any personal ill will. I think sometimes we do get defensive but I don't think this has been offensive.
We are passionate about guitars or we wouldn't be here in the first place.
I have guitars from BRW, EIRW, Walnut, Sinker Beech, Myrtle, Maple, Mahogany, Makore and The Tree. None of them sound the same. I like that. Just as curly stump wood BRW does it for some people and not others, The Tree is the same way. The Tree is just another wood to choose or not.
If you are thinking about a wood buy, it's nice to know if some is interested in the wood.
