Hi folks! I bought a new Takamine EG440C STRQ. The STRQ means seethrough red quilt. I love it! I think the plugged in sound is wonderful! the action is a bit high but it came with a shim underneath the saddle and i took it out and the action went down to medium (just right for strumming, maybe 7/64 on the low E and 5/64 on the hi E). i also found out that the piezo pickup is integrated into the saddle bottom. i think that helps it get that great plugged-in sound.
i see from a search that there are a couple of other AGF'ers here who have the same guitar!
