Hi Russell. Thanks for your interest.

A 110e (from 2016) has a solid spruce top, with layered sapele back and sides. This guitar, a prototype, has a solid mahogany top, with layered sapele back and sides. If this guitar were in general production in 2016, it would have a model number of 120e. [With Taylor's model numbering system, when the second number is a 1, the top is solid spruce, and when it is a 2, the top is a solid hardwood (usually mahogany)]. Make sense?
