it's possible that the Fishman pickup has considerably more gain, so perhaps if you lower the gain either on the speaker or the guitar this might help. I have a similar problem with my Taylors with the ES1 if I connect them with the 1/4" to XLR cable. Lowering the volume on the guitar helps reduce the hiss. I hope that this helps.
