How long have you been playing it? It sounds like you need to play more. Once the guitar is set up right and feeling good for you generally speaking, the guitar isn't changing - your perceptions are.

To me, that indicates that you could stand to build a more consistent set of muscle and muscle memory and technique in your hands by playing more and regularly.

(p.s. Also - Don't play shortly after taking a shower, doing the dishes, swimming or anything else where your hands have been soaking wet. I almost didn't mention that, because it seems like such a no brainer, but then I remembered that everyone on forums comes from different backgrounds and knowledge/experience base...)
