Chomper, I'm sure they are all good and what you feel best with will be the right one. Taylor GS mini is highly thought of by alot. By the way the setup on the Lil Martin was great out of the box. I guess I went with the LXK2 cause I like the stratabond neck for a younger child (again mine is 8yrs old) cause to me they are stronger than a wooden neck. I do have a Martin OM-1 with the stratabond neck also and it stays in tune what seems like forever. I have had no problems with it. He did have a hand in picking it out but doesn't know he is getting one. He seemed happy and interested with the Martin so that means alot to me that he will be excited and hopefully stick with the playing. Good luck to you and yours.
