Anyone ever give up electric for acoustic?

Simple answer is yes. Started out both acoustic and electric in the 60s, became mostly electric, and then entirely acoustic before the 80s were done with me. So for about 40 years I have been 100% acoustic. But I still kept my cherry sunburst Gibson Les Paul standard with the flame maple top and hand-wound pickups. And my Fender tube amp. Just don't want to part with them.

I fingerpick all my guitars using my nails as picks.

Not a fan of calling it a 'zombie' thread.
I would rather think of this as a 'Lazarus' thread.

Be well and play well,
