I don't know anything about the GC Jr, the player of the guitar. I actually googled 2017 Yellow SG 3 pickups and it came up (I get curious when I see guitars like that). What made you want to get that one? The player or the guitar?

There’s another dozen or so. All SG’s minus a couple Les Pauls. I have no Gibson acoustics.
I mainly picked up the GC Jr because of the three P-90s. The color kind of caught me as well. Turns out it was a limited run as they had serious issues of the gloss yellow finish cracking/checking, especially around the upper neck/head area. You can google and read all about it. It is very rare to find one without the cracks, I may even have the last one.
The 2018 GC Jr’s came in Vintage Red. No more problems
