An Alternative Setup: Has anyone tried using the Session DI via an Effects Loop on either an acoustic amp or a mixer? This way, you'd get the guitar's "pure" pickup signal as EQ modified by the Venue coming in the Channel Input, and you could blend-in the desired amount of Session DI signal through the Effects Loop.
