Is this a 16" L5 or 17". I'm guessing it's a 16" L5 with no cutaway, like the one Maybell Carter played.
I'd really love an L5, particularly a non-cut 17" model with floating Dearmond pickup. Yum Yum!! I got to play several one time and the non-cut model from the late 40's was the cat's meow.
I'm not a big fan of the CES models, as they have holes cut into the top for the pickups. This configuration dampens the acoustic tone a bit. I prefer the fully-acoustic version L5 or L5C.
