2011 RainSong CO-DR1100N2 Concert Series Dreadnought Guitar in excellent condition for sale. There are no scratches or dings, aside for some light pick marks and two extremely minor (tiny) factory finish dimples (it was a custom ordered guitar in first condition). A static cling Taylor pickguard is on the guitar.

A K&K Pure Mini pickup is installed and sounds very good even with no preamp into most acoustic guitar amps and mixers (very low input impedance, <<50K ohm, line inputs will roll off the lows, and very high impedance inputs, >>5M ohm, will roll off the highs, in these circumstances an acoustic guitar preamp is helpful).

I traded the original plastic case for a Martin 345 flat top wooden case (much less bulky, a little heavier). An Access Stage 1 gig bag is also included. The Access bag is stiff enough to retain its shape with no guitar in it and is very protective with an inch of firm foam.

The guitar is strung with Elixir Phosphor Bronze Lights (12s) and the action is 3/32” and 2/32”, low and high E respectively, at the 12th fret, as pictured. Also included is the original saddle which will raise the action 1/64” and a second spare saddle that matches the original saddle for string height when combined with a Fishman Matrix under saddle pickup.

The frets as pictured do show wear under the high E and B strings for the lower frets. The guitar plays well but a fret dress would not hurt it.

The soundboards of the RainSong Concert series use unidirectional graphite fabric for the outer visible layer. Unidirectional fabric has more irregularities than woven graphite and gives the guitar’s top a more wood-like organic look. It is not as uniform as the back and sides when inspected closely.
