Deal on a Deal Day guitar
 

I sprung for one of those $149 Grateful Dead Alvarez guitars touted on another thread. It has a solid cedar top, is very light and quite responsive. I got it mainly to learn fingerstyle as it has wider string spacing than my other guitars, but it is not a bad strummer.

This might be the first Garcia tune I ever learned back in my earlier and very short guitar playing life before a taking a long hiatus. I was never a traveling type dead head but I did get to see Jerry many times and really miss his playing.

Excuse the vocal, I'm working on it :-)
