My new Stratocaster

Heres my new guitar. Picked it up on the weekend. A Squire classic vibe 60s Stratocaster.

Nice! Can't go wrong with brown sunburst with red tortoise pickguard.

Perfect - the quest has ended. (or it's only just begun)

VERY nice Troyboi, looks like you landed on a winner! Enjoy :guitar:

Beautiful guitar. Love that tortoise pick guard. It will be your companion for many years to come. Best of luck to you!

+1.

Congrats and enjoy your new Strat! Those Classic Vibes are great guitars.

Love the narrow saddle spacing. I built 3 strats with 2 1/16" spacing this summer. Playing the high E string is a bit easier when the string isn't on the fret ends.

Your's looks super comfortable and just right! I remember enjoying these at the store.

- and the narrow neck - even with flatwound 12's my '86 Squier/Fender is still my fastest-playing electric...

Use it well, often, and LOUD... :guitar:

Nice pick up, OP. Squier makes good guitars. I have played a standard Squier Tele for years and it is solid. The CV Squier series is real good stuff.

Texsunburst, you have too many Strats, and I am just the guy to help you overcome this ordeal. I'll take the '09 Daphne Blue. Thanks a bunch.

Nice what amp will you use ?

vindibona1 09-29-2017 10:13 AM

Congrats. That's a nice one to pick up.

Very cool pic.

Nice! I just picked up a Daphne blue Squire Deluxe strat with the maple fretboard and a surf green Squire Surf strat with the maple fretboard. I bought the pair for under $500 and they are great playing/sounding guitars!
