Quiet you have been, Inky. How are things in Australia?

barefooter 09-03-2014 01:50 PM

Raising my hand and waiving to our friend from down under. Yes, we did miss you here.

inky 09-04-2014 02:23 AM

Straight back at y'Tom..(wave)..Thank you.
Dru, everything cool down here, thanks for asking.
I have been working up North for a while. It's good to be back home.:)

Jim.S 09-04-2014 02:43 AM

That would be a bit of a warm change for you Inky, depending on how far north you got.

Underneath a shady tree, is where i would be, if i were as far North as you Jim.
I was only up as far as South Hedland.

Very nice to see Inky again. It's bee a while. Welcome back. I didn't realize we were that close to the 300 mark. You guys are good to watch the numbers.

Dru Edwards 09-04-2014 08:16 AM

Well, it Would be nice to live in a place where there is no snow in the Winter.

Jim.S 09-04-2014 04:44 PM

Xeric conditions might just suit you Dru as I have never heard of snow in the desert.

Yellow sun setting into an all summer ocean sounds nice.

Jim.S 09-04-2014 05:50 PM

Zigzag across this country and you will find all sorts of weather, in the end I chose the endless summer but it comes at the price of losing the ocean cause the sea is never quite as spectacular.

Around these parts, we get to experience all the seasons and the big range of temperatures. Summers can bring us 90 + degree weather while the winter can put us at temperatures below 0; sometimes as much as -20 or -30 degrees. I love living in what I call God's country :)

Dru Edwards 09-05-2014 08:37 AM

Best Believe that I love living in the Canadian Maritimes. It's home.

barefooter 09-05-2014 07:23 PM

Caught up in trying to make a decision earlier as to whether I should attend the Friday Night Jam or go to a rock-n-roll dance where my friends were playing. The decision was made easy though when my wife became ill and I knew I must stay with her. She is so much more important than the two choices I had before me. Please remember her as she recovers.

Mary 09-06-2014 05:02 AM

Do know I said a little prayer for her right away. Hope today makes a difference in how she feels.
