Best reverb tank replacement for California Blonde?

Hi - I love the tone of my California Blonde but the onboard spring reverb tank sounds dismal. Could anyone recommend a good tank to replace it with?

i'd recommend the Carl Martin 'Headroom' spring reverb pedal, it's truly fantastic

I prefer using a versatile reverb pedal which includes spring. This method will give you the spring sound plus a variety of other reverberating & shimmering tones.

The Neunaber (say: new neighbor) Immerse has their beautifully dreamy and famed Wet effects, plus it has a dedicated switch for spring, hall, and plate reverb sounds.

3:27 on the YouTube demo shows the spring sound.

A reverb pedal is the best Idea. I use the Boss RV-6. But there is the TC Hall of Fame that gives you alot of options.
