Air on a G String

I've always found the name quite amusing but it's still a beautiful song. Here is my arrangement and effort

The video is now in the reply below

Well done!

It's one song that I remember as I was playing it at a wedding many years ago and absolutely butchered it!

Excellent arrangement and performance, Mark! Bravo!

Well done. Your technical work was great but more important you put a lot of emotion into your playing. Beautiful. I think I have the music around he. I think I'll give it a shot. Pete

Thanks to you both

Thanks to both of you for listening. I like playing Bach on the guitar, and it feels quite free to play.

Simply beautiful! Enjoyed your playing a lot, thank you

Thanks Jazzy

Beautiful. And gentle.

The greatest strength on the classical guitar is gentleness. Maybe elsewhere too. IMO.

Agreed

I couldn't agree more about the gentleness comment
Thanks for commenting :)

Be really interesting to hear you play the same song on that Strat in the background or on a steel string and let's hear the differences. :)

This is one of those songs that's definitely on my short list of classical arrangements to master. Very well played. I've ran across your videos and website before through YouTube and they always made a big impression on me, so I was stoked to see this thread. I'd never comment on YouTube for religious reasons (kidding, mostly...), but seriously thank you for being awesome and realizing that the world needs what you are selling. This kind of accessibility to quality guitar notation is crucial. At least for most newer guitarists, finding quality notation of full pieces is sometimes harder than actually learning to play.

Just looking at your site. All of your classical/flamenco videos are amazing and Message in a Bottle is crazy good. Anyways, I'll be buying a few for sure. Never stopping being awesome. Thank you.
