One Day arranged by Tommy Emmanuel
Today I realized that in only ten days I’m going to see the great Tommy Emmanuel at The Lorensberg theater where I live, very exciting! In the light of this I felt inspired to play one of my favorite arrangements of his, this is One Day written by Martin Taylor. Here's hoping he plays it at the show! :)

Great tune...always reminded me of an Irish melody. Very nice job :)

I enjoyed that one!! Thanks.
You will enjoy TE.......seeing him is like hearing/seeing someone from another planet with what he does and how he does it. He leaves it all on the stage and pulls out all the stops in his shows. A great player and entertainer who has inspired at least one generation and perhaps many more. |
I saw Tommy in Nashville last week. He did not play “One Day” then, but he always seems to make up his playlists as he goes along.

Thanks for listening and commenting!
It definitely has an Irish feel to it in the intro and outro parts Dustin, I agree! I’m so psyched for the show! Saw him a couple of years ago and was absolutely blown away, now is the first time he’a back in my town since then. |
Very nice, and enjoy the show!

Sweet song and nice touch!

Taylor lives in the Scottish Highlands and I believe this was written to have a Celtic feel about it - written after the death of his son. |
Solid stuff :)
