Collings MF Black Gloss Top Mandolin

For sale is a very nice Collings MF with a gloss black top and satin sunburst back and sides. 1-1/8" nut width. This is a great sounding F style mandolin from Collings and the fit and finish is near perfect as expected.

It's in overall excellent condition with some light surface scratches on the treble side of the top which could easily be buffed out if desired. The linked pic makes it look way worse than it really is but you have to get in the right light to even see it. There is the briefest amount of fret wear and one small ding on the lower point (see pic) but that's it. Comes with the original hardshell case which is in mint condition.

It's just starting to sound a bit warmer and throaty compared to new Collings F models and it's very consistent in tone and volume all up and down the fretboard.
