help with pick up part

Where can I get the piezo that goes under the saddle for my ovation deluxe? Mine got broke,I can't seem to find a replacement piece. It's just the flat metal with a wire on it.

I'm not sure what it's really called.

that part is the piezo sensing element - there is a piezoelectric ceramic material encasing a pair of conductors. It usually looks like a flat wire or a teeny tiny piece of coax.

They are very inexpensive but quality varies wildly.

You can pick one up at any parts store like parts plus or stewart mcdonald

I still haven't been able to find what I need. No one seems to sell them. Can anyone tell me where I can buy one ?

Well,I got one from Fishman. I had to get it through Sweetwater, who doesn't sell parts. 80.00,but it was the only place I could get it. :guitar:

Maybe it's too late now but I recommend ditching the UST and go with a bridgeplate soundboard transducer. Both K&K and JJB are installed in thousands of instruments around the world.

I already have the Fishman Ellipse matrix blend. I just needed to fix the piezo that i broke. Thanks though.

Al at Lost Art Vintage Instruments will be able to take care of you with what you need or he can recommend the best alternative replacement.
