Dogs have perfect pitch

This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I had no idea that dogs had this ability. The video is a little long, but some of the most interesting parts are at 5:10 and 10:50. The segment starting at 10:50 is what I first saw and it is what really blew me away.

Thanks for the clip. It was very interesting but from what I could discern, the dogs were displaying relative pitch not perfect (absolute) pitch. The notes the woman was playing were sometimes off as compared to the keyboard but the dogs didn’t seem to mind.

One thing I thought was odd was that the dogs never looked down at the keyboard.

I wondered about that too. It looked to me more like the dogs were reacting to hand signals. I could be wrong about that, but that's the way I saw it.

I don't know about dogs, but in over thirty years of playing, teaching, and interacting with many many musicians, I have met no one who could show that they had perfect pitch.
I personally have no reason to believe that it exists. What about the rest of you?
