Looking for some feedback regarding this product. Obvious comparisons to Fishman SA if possible

2nd this. Looks like a lesser expensive option, but no you tube videos to showcase the sound and limited reviews.

Likewise I haven't heard this one but I will as soon as I get the chance. I have a pair of Truesonic TS110As and think very highly of them (the 12" fared noticeably better than a Mackie SRM450 in a head to head and was half the price). They are always my first recommendation it the the price range and three or four people I know have bought them and all have been satisfied. The Black series seems to get good press too so I'd expect these to punch well above their weight.

They need a speaker stand to elevate them, but the price point is nice. I'm curious what the dispersion pattern is like, compared to an SA220 or L1 Compact. If they appear at a local music store I'll give them a test drive. Ric

The Alto brand seems to play above their price point. I love the idea of a line array at this price.

I have a pair of Alto TX8's and they sound very nice, but they're not very efficient. When I bought them they had a big 280 watt sticker on them. After doing some math with the db and efficiency ratings, they came out to sub 100 watts RMS.

The Trouper is 65 watts RMS to the 3 woofers at about 22 watts each and 35 watts to the HF driver. This is normally rated at a single frequency. At their continious power rating they are rated at 117db at one meter. That's pretty good. I think you would need two to cover most rooms. The drivers are not offset at angles. This is similar to the less expensive Kustom/PowerWerks PA50/PW50. Just off the published specs I do not believe they're competitors for the SA220 or L1 Compact. That being said, I'll bet a pair of them stereo linked will make a nice compact system. Two Kustom PA50's linked make a system that can cover a noisy crowd of 50. Ric
