Your Favorite Closing Lines of a Song

A couple years ago I started a thread about the best opening lines of a song that ended up getting over 10,000 page views and going on forever. At last count I think it had over 300 posts.

Now I'd like to do the opposite. Tell us your favorite ENDING lines of a song. A few guidelines to help everyone participate and enjoy this thread:

1) Try to limit it to one song, or two or three of your faves at most in a single post. Save other favorites for additional posts in the thread.

2) Be sure to give the title of the song and the songwriter and/or performer.

3) Try to limit it to the last couple lines of the song, or at most the final stanza.

4) If the artist/writer is lesson known, feel free to tell us a little about them.

I'll start. This is from John Prine's "Come back to us, Barbara Lewis Hare Krishna Beauregard":

I gotta shake myself and wonder
Why she even bothers me
For if heartaches were commercials
We'd all be on TV

Can't wait to hear your choices!

Jason Isbell ... "Elephant"

There's one thing that's real clear to me,
no one dies with dignity.
We just try to ignore the elephant somehow.

"I wish that for just one time, you could stand inside my shoes,
And just for that one moment, I could be you,
I wish that for just one time, you could stand inside my shoes,
You'd know what a drag it is to see you."

- Bob Dylan

"Closing time, every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end"

Semisonic, Closing Time. Waiters at places I played at would ask me to do that song late in the evening to make those last few patrons think it was time for them to leave.

It'll change again in 20 minutes but for right now it's...

"Winter's comin' on and it's twenty below
And the river's froze over so where can he go
We'll chase him up the gully then we'll run him in the well
And shoot him in the bottom just to listen to him yell"

From Ol' Slew Foot.
