Delacour sharpening levers

Hi everyone
I am in the process of building a harp guitar and I am looking to source sharpening levers for my sub bass strings.

My first choice would be Truitt levers, but I have tried in vain to contact Betty Truitt via email with no success. I am in South Africa, so contacting her via telephone presents another set of obstacles.

I have recently seen some sharpening levers made by Delacour on some instruments I have seen online, and they look very very nice. However, I can not find any information on them.
Google does not return a website :(

Does anyone reading this have any insight into sharpening levers? and any from these two manufacturers in particular?
I'd be very happy to order 6 of either.

Google returned this website and page for the levers:
http://www.dragonwhispers.com/levers/

Betty Truitt's contact info is on that site here:
http://www.dragonwhispers.com/contact/

Is that the email address you've tried?
BTW, she could be still on holiday. Her website indicates she likes to travel.

hello, thanks for your response.

I was referring to Delacour levers when I said Google yielded no results.
That is the website I found for Truitt levers, and the contact address that I have emailed.

I have done so a few times over the last few months (starting in september), so I don't believe it's simply that she is on holiday. Oh well. I have tried to initiate contact through a store that sells her products.

I have mailed one of the luthiers who built an instrument I found online featuring Delacour levers. Hopefully he'll be able to point me in the right direction.

Regards
Andrew

My Beardsell harp guitar has sharping levers, not sure of the brand, they don't look the ones on my wife's dusty strings harp. Perhaps contact Alan Beardsell for more info. The tone is a little less with the lever engaged but it's a great convenience.

I'd look up "Fred Carlson" at beyond the trees and email him, he may be able to get back to you, may not, with some info...worth a try.

looking at his pics may help with identifying what brand he uses.

Thanks guys
I have heard back from Graeme McCormack who tells me that Delacour have since gone out of business and no longer make levers.

I will wait to hear back from Betty Truitt.
