It's okay that you've never put in the time to do your research on the most revered document (movie) in the rock n' roll canon... yet. Now go rent it. You will never look at rock the same again and you'll probably laugh your socks off. By the way, my "location" is a semi-quote from old Nigel as well.

Oh, and by the way, my Marshall electric guitar amp goes to... 20! Not a joke. Look at the gain knob below:

Thanks for all the help guys! A used Marshall AS50R came up at REAL good price and I jumped on it. So far, so good! And ya'll were right about the power! I'm really liking the versatility of the second channel - XLR, 1/4", or aux inputs.
