Last minute bone saddle tech help
I just received my Colosi bone saddle and pins today!!! While I am currently at work, I can't wait to go back and start the sanding and prepping before putting it in my guitar.
I was just wondering if anyone has last minute tips to doing this properly that may not be noted in Colosi's instructions. Thanks and hopefully I'll be able to give a report of the tonal differences tomorrow!!!!:D |
Take...................your.....................ti me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sanding the saddle is pretty easy and fast; however, sanding the pins is a pain and you will want to rush. Don't.

Measure often, sand in small incriments. Easier than reordering. |
just remember, right when you get to the crucial point, where you think its just about right, all it takes is a little bit too much more, sanded off the saddle, and its no good. i know, because i did it.

Well-
I was successful in installing the saddle and pins last night!!! The guitar sounds and looks incredible. Thanks for the advice! Hopefully, when I have more time, I can give a full report. |
