yamaha scf08

would you guys reccomend this guitar for a begginer? is it any good?

Minimum Yamaha you should get is the F-310.

I'd recommend spending a few extra dollars and getting a FG-700, however.

well my dad already bought it for me so i mstuck with it, but it looks good... for a begginer it doesnt seem bad but i just wanted to see if its any good?

Bottom of the barrel Yamaha model.

But it'll do the trick for starting out. Yamaha is known for making a really consistent product quality wise in all price ranges (everything from less than $150 range up to their $3000+ range).

So, for what that guitar is (starter pack model), it'll be probably one of the best ones you'll see in its price.

No worries man. It'll do you the trick for your first guitar!

As for online lessons, there's a whole bunch of them out there. I used to have some bookmarked in my browser, but those are long gone. Unfortunately I can't think of the sites either.

Someone here will be able to point you in the right direction for sure though.

Thanks man... that'll be great. ive tried youtube but its harder there to learn. i think i might learn to read the tabs. i have friends that play so i might just get their help.
