Medieval Carol - original fingerstyle

The basis for this tune is a French carol, Nous Voici Dans La Ville, which I heard on a medieval compilation, sang chorally, and just had to arrange it. I've added some variations, it's still a little of a work in progress, as I'm likely to add a couple more variations before it's done, but I think it works as it is for now.
Seasons Greetings everyone.

Well, that was BEAUTIFUL!!! After hearing that, I'm even more stoked to hear your arrangement of Coventry Carol!

Very nice. I listened to it thrice.

Hi Mike,

Well, that was very well done!

I know that carol. It's very intriguing to hear your arrangement. I hope you don't mind the comparison, but your playing style reminds me a great deal of some of John Renbourn's best work and recordings.

Good for you -- this is very well done!

I'm chuffed with that Glenn, I knew John Renbourn, I'd met him quite a few times, he was good enough to give me his email and he sent me quite a few tips on how to arrange music, he was a massive influence on my playing. In fact it was because of him that I took up fingerstyle playing at all, nearly thirty years ago. This particular piece I'd written for him, it had a temporary title of 'My Lord Renbourn's Jumpe(r)'. But sadly he left us before I got round to presenting the music to him. I wanted to add more to it before I did so. I think there's a massive lesson in there for me personally.

So thank you very much, I don't mind the comparison at all.
