Question for Davis Webb

I'm curious what strings you are using on your CC24?

Thanks,
Tom

we have a private message system that might work better than a thread.......

Using the Elixir Nanowebs 80/20 Phosphor Bronze light guage. Very satisfied. Pulled the stock strings off the day I got it.

For acoustic metal, I tell my students, the guitar is not your friend. Its your enemy. It stands between you and expression. You need to attack the guitar mercilessly and then when you back off the instrument and go
soft, it follows. If you subject your strings to this kind of assault, they better be Elixirs or you will bust the things. Think about taming a Doberman, thats about right :)

Cheers.

Thanks for the info. I had read the thread where you said how much you like your CC24 so, since I'm looking for a guitar I don't have to be very careful with, I thought I might get a CC24RR; I also wanted to try whatever strings you are using so I would have a good starting point and then go from there.

Thanks,
Tom
