Martin OM21 vs. Martin 00028

For those that own both or have played both, which do you like more and why? Thanks!

I prefer the shorter scale of the 000.

I had a 000-28EC for a while, but traded it into an OM28V. It was definitely the right move for me... now I get more sparkle, liveliness, and a longer scale. Both f them had a 1 3/4" nut. After playing the 1 3/4" nut, I don't want a 1 11/16" nut again.

OM has a 1 3/4" nut. The 000-28 has a 1 11/16" nut. (I prefer the wider spacing for easier fingering.)

OM has 24.5" scale length. 000-28 has a 24.9" scale. (I prefer the longer scale for the sound quality, esp in lower tunings.)

OM has scalloped X bracing. 000-28 has straight X bracing. (I prefer the scalloped bracing for a more responsive top to fingerpicking.)

To me, these are all significant differences!

The EC definitely has a 1.75 nut. Not sure about the production 000-28. Short scale is great for bluesy tone, long scale for sparkle and projection.

I haven't played the 000-28 but the OM-21 did nothing for me? I much prefer the OM-35 Custom from Jon @ MFG...just my 2 cents?
