Tears In Heaven

Can someone show me an easy way to play that song please?
I'd like to learn the fingerpicking way, but I can only get a little
of it down. I cannot read music, only tablature. Thanks!

I am learning this at moment from 100 most beautiful songs book, I am finding it fairly easy I have only just started fingerpicking on guitar, I got fed up with keep trying to get stuff on internet with not a lot of luck it is a bit of a lay out money wise but there is so much in there for beginner like me, and I don't have to keep wasting time searching.

I have the piece charted in notation and tab for my students. Email me thru my website and I will send you the PDF file.
I charted out the complete song, very detailed tab as well

When learning songs it is important to know how chord patterns work. Tears in Heaven goes to the category of Down The Line in Major. If you learn around 10 most common chord patterns inside out and how to extend them, you will have amazing jukebox of songs to play. It is kind of optimizing the memory space about learning songs.

You don't need written notation. Learn the patterns and you can play guitar with different kind of confidence. I haven't used written notation last 7 years and the speed of learning songs is much faster than with written notation.

Check the video below and especially the end part where I explain little bit about one pattern and how you can extend it.

I am still struggling with this song, even with your excellent notation
in that PDF file.
I am not sure what it will take for me to really get this song down.

I learnt it from this video. Language is portugese, I think, which I don't speak but could follow it anyway. Good instruction

well.. if you were not that far away, I would say come on out for a lesson and I would have you playing it in no time!
or if you know of a good local instructor...
