Sedona balanced input vs. Fishman mic input

I know Taylor ES-1 balanced systems have been discussed at length. If I were running a T5 say, and wanted to run that balanced, is there a difference between the balanced 1/4" input on the Rivera Sedona, vs using the mic input on a Fishman mini (or any amp with a mic input?) using in that case a 1/4" to xlr...
Thanks for any clarification!

Taylor ES1 needs
* Line level input
* Line impedance (10 kohm)
Sedona has a proper input transformer

Mic input is usually low impedance, high gain (mic sensitivity).
Loudbox mini channel 2 is 2 kohms.

It is going to work but not in the best conditions in term of audio quality.

Thank you! What piece of gear would I need to make the ES-1 work balanced into the Fishman, a the proper kohms, if you don't mind telling me. I appreciate it!
