String gauges start at .028” on the high e and run all the way down, down, down to .070” on that fearsome lowest E. The nut is a svelte 2 21/32 inches, and the hand-rubbed neck feels smooth and surprisingly slim. A light, chocolatey set of Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides, German Spruce on top, and the fingerboard is subtly elevated from the top to aid in reaching those uppermost frets.

It’s an incredible experience to take your playing so low! We’ve currently got it tuned to an extra low A and E note, but the sky’s the limit for different tunings. The lower register will definitely resonate through your body on a seismic level. Weighing in at only 4lbs 60z, it’s a surprisingly light and comfortable 8-string BRS to play.
