The guitar event of the year! McJam 10!!!
Kathy and I wouldn't miss it. |
This is super good news, Rodger because our AGF Coldshot can't yell loud enough from Australia without you running your Skype monitor. :)
We will see you both in a few months! |
Mary,
Count me in again, I had a really enjoyable time last year and look forward to coming out to see and play with everyone again! cheerios amyfb |
You are on that list, Amy. I didn't forget how fun you were!
|
You know I'm not going to miss it!
|
And, of course, you are on the list, Neil. :)
If you plan to stay in the loft or Lone Cone - let me know. |
I will be sending out basic information in a few minutes to those who have already signed up for the 2017 tenth Anniversary McJam.
If you are interested in attending NOW is a good time to get your name on the list. A non-refundable payment is NOT due until the first week of June. You must contact Mary to get your name on the list. Only serious folks, please. You do not have to be a McKnight Guitar customer to attend. Note the first post for names of those who have already signed up to attend this special event. Thank you. |
I am bumping this thread up today since we will be in PA at the Artisan guitar show in April and hope to meet a few AGF members to tell about the 10th anniversary of the McJam.
Truth be told, I have no special plans, but I am up for suggestions. Anyone willin' to add to the list for giving classes? Amy is having a class on Friday and will add to it on Saturday. AGF's Rodger and his wife, Kathy, are providing our second Skype presentation so we can all chat face to face with Coldshot who has "attended by Skype or phone" at every McJam! |
Three more folks signed up today. Remember to get your name or your friend's name on this list.
First come - first serve. |
Looking forward to catching up with all the Mcjammers again this year 10 year anniversary.
|
One warning to those attending for the first time: this is prime graduation season as well as wedding season (who doesn't want to be a June bride?) so hotels down in Marion fill up quick. The quality of accommodations is okay but nothing to write home about and the service leaves something to be desired. I once had a room sold out from under me after the first night.
IMO you can't get better than "Loft Security" that weekend. I'll certainly put my name in the hat, Mary. |
Mr. Kwak? Is that you? When did you change your screen name? And, why? Inquiring minds want to know.
Have you abandoned the Kwak Attack? |
Neil, you are set to be Loft Security. (Thank you.)
Because it is June bride time we got word Bob Singer had to cancel his plans to join us due to a special wedding in his other family's world. I often pick a couple of dates to choose from and ask a McJammer or two to help decide a date that best works for them. We have a college professor who has to travel to Europe so I want to check with him, but even then, we know none of us are in control of schedules of others. We respect that family comes first and we will always understand this situation. We give out congrats to the wonderful couple. Our son and daughter-in-law got married on December 31 so that never became a confusion with a McJam plan. If our daughter someday desires a June wedding the McJam will be moved to a later date, for sure! I felt so blessed the year our daughter-in-law looked like first granddaughter could come "any time now." The McJammers let me know if we had to leave our own event they would hold the fort down and the McJam could go on without us. Sounded like a good plan to us. :) Bob, let Judy know we love her and we will plan to see her again soon. It might become a plan for us to get back down to Florida. However, if you plan another marvelous Memphis show we will be there. There will always be another McJam and you all will always on the list! |
Thank you , Mary. FWIW every few years the McJam falls on my anniversary which makes things a little. Not this year though.
