James Olson Dreadnought, Cutaway, Rare, Nitro, Pre CNC, St Paul Stamp, NICE

1989 Olson dreadnought. Mahogany/Sitka guitar is in excellent + condition. Nitro finish has no checking. Guitar sounds great, plays like an Olson & is a collector's item. You wont find Olson dreadnoughts because people don't sell & not many were built.

There is the St Paul, MN stamp on it vs the current Circle Pines, MN stamp. This guitar built before Jim began using CNC machine & it has nitrocellulose finish. CNC (computer numeric control) and the newer UV cured poly finish both began in 1989, after this guitar was built.

The photo of the mic in the sound hole is dated. I replaced the original mic/pickup this year with a Baggs LB6, same as Jim Olson puts in his guitars, including those of James Taylor.

Olson's have been appreciating a lot in past two years.....here's your chance to own one.

Good luck with the sale

Ditto on the reference for Bruce. And he knows and lives in the world of high end guitars.

What a beaut. Next time you are in town you have to teach me some photography. My photo-fu skills are weak. And let me post another recommendation for robbypad. Straight shooter and safe to deal with.

And if this was your BRW Olson I'd be driving up there to pick it up today. That is still one of the most resonant if not the most resonant guitars I have played. :D

I will chime in here as well.

Many, many deals done with Bruce. Always great guitars, great communications and delivered better than expected.

This baby looks exceptional as well.

What a beautiful guitar...! It fits just about everything I’m looking for, if only it wasn’t a cutaway☹️. I don’t suppose the “one more” you mentioned is also an Olson build?

May I offer my comments on Bruce as a seller. He knows his guitars, takes excellent care of them, and is outstanding to work with. Bruce communicates quickly and effectively, knows his way around shipping with excellence, and his guitars over-deliver. The Olson parlor I bought from him last spring is my favorite guitar ever, and will be with me until my fingers can't move anymore. :guitar:

Great opportunity here for a special guitar from an awesome seller!

James Olson Dreadnought, Cutaway, Rare, Nitro, Pre CNC, St Paul Stamp, NICE

A tremendously versatile guitar.......... rare St Paul, MN stamp inside of body, hand made by Jim prior to CNC, Mahogany/Sitka, nitrocellulose finish vs current UV cured poly, cutaway with new Baggs pickup installed last year! This one rocks!

I thought you were selling James Olson. I figure, at the right price, I could buy James Olson and then have him make me about 20 guitars!
