Poor Boy's Delight

This (you'll all be relived to know) is the last video to be published from that last session.

Alomst everyone credits it to The great young bluegrass band - The Infamous Stringdusters, from whom I learnt this song.

However, I think it might have been written by a chap called Benny "Burle" Galloway.

If anyone had any more info on this song, and the writer, I'd be grateful to know.

Anyway this is our version :

For some reason (2 x = ?)

This won't link properly

I really want to hear your cover of this song. My duo covers it and it is also a popular fave at one of or jams. We have had 20 people singing harmonies together!! It's a lovely lovely waltz.

Link says vid is private .... please try again!

People miscredit this tune. It is copyrighted by Benny. He and his band did a great version of it.

I've got it sorted out now !

Here is our version, and yes, it should be credited to Benny Burle Galloway. I'm not familiar with the gent, but he obviously writes inspired songs!

Hi Andy,

That sounded really good! Excellent recording, excellent playing, very good singing, Andy! Every time I hear your 12-fret Collings dreadnought, I thing, WOW! That guitar sounds good! For me, just a perfect blend of bass and midrange and treble.

The song fits your voice beautifully, too. Once again, I cannot believe how natural your American accent sounds. Your accent sounds like you are from upstate New York or even the Cleveland area where I grew up, kind of midwestern. That's a real art right there, being able to peg an accent like that.

Very enjoyable video. Technically, the sound was spot on, too!
