Three for the show....woodstock

Well it might be two for the show, depending on how late I work and whether I can cut down on AGF time:)

This one will be a very traditional 000, no cutaway, no bevels, Brazilian body, master grade adi top, koa or kiaat binding.

This guitar has a chocolate mango back and side, cedar top, and as yet undetermined binding. Its going to have a floating FBE, carbon fiber tube reinforcing the neck block.

Final entry pomelle padouk 000 adi top and ebony binding. Plenty of bevels.

I'll update as progress allows. Thanks for looking.

John

This will be fun! Good luck! Remember, it's one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready....( and go, go, go.... or something like that....) !

Woohoo...

I think it is: " One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and go cat go."

Hurry up and finish these, so you can get the others out of the way and start on my next BOMB!!! Hahahahahahaha

I am sold on the floating fretboard and the CF struts! And the bevels, and the port, and yada yada yada...

Really just sold on John Kinnaird's SOUND and playability, too... plus his fun personality!

Have fun!

Cheers

Paul

You're right. I'm out of here.

Jobe 06-17-2017 03:36 PM

Ha! ( I hope....! I would miss your build threads if things got too busy. We're only here for the glue drying time. That's the schedule. There are some epoxy threads that can go off course given a certain amount of exposure but that's beside the point.) Again, I wish you luck...the best coming up!

Alex, It sounds like a trip to the Northeast in possibly your future!?!

John, it looks like you're gonna have some nice guitars to show! But brother, you've got a TON of work to do! Wow. But I do understand that building several guitars at one time is normal for you. I wish I could be at that show to see them and play them, but it isn't in the cards for me.

Good luck on your builds John!

Great looking start John. I look forward to following these builds.

David Wren 06-18-2017 09:08 AM

Looks like you'll have some pretty zippy looking instruments for the show John ... looking forward to watching them take shape!

Steve Kinnaird 06-18-2017 02:28 PM

Looking good brother. Will need to bring our A game, it appears.
