Yamaha's all solid, Om/orchestra, Engelman spruce top, solid Mahogany body.
These new a.r.e cooked tops are well worth the investment for really strong resonance and tone.A guitar you can feel comfortable gigging out or taking over to your friends garage jams. $SOLD pretty sweet deal |
I would like to concur with the awesomeness of this guitar. I've come to the realization that I need to part with a guitar or two myself but my ls16r will not be one of them. The similarities between the ll16 and la16 are almost uncanny. This ll has slightly more bass but that to be expected. The volume of the ls is great and the pickup is wonderful. I'm pretty sure I'll be keeping my ls16r. Probably will sell my ll16r since my recent acquisition of the fg180 50th anniversary..

Very nice guitar. Exactly what I'm looking for, but first I need to sell my Taylor 416e (also listed in the classifieds here). If that sells, you will probably be hearing from me again, as long as this guitar is still listed.

Isn't the LS16M the mahogany version of this? You list it as the LS16M but you describe it as rosewood b&s. Can you confirm which it is?
